DENVER – A judge's decision to dismiss a lawsuit seeking to have the Colorado government correct the "outright lies" handed to voters in an explanation of a pro-life initiative on the November ballot will be appealed, organizers have confirmed.

A Denver District Judge threw out a lawsuit on Thursday that would have revised language about a ballot measure to outlaw abortion on a state voters' guide.

Amendment 62 on the 2010 Colorado ballot would legally define life as at "the beginning of the biological development of that human being."

An abortion group in Colorado is suing to force the state to change how it describes an abortion-related amendment before voters this fall.

Personhood USA, one of the sponsors of Colorado's Amendment 62, which would change the state constitution to grant citizenship rights at the "beginning of biological development," filed the suit Wednesday in Denver District Court.
