Personhood is Coming Back in 2012

Dear Personhood Supporters:

Many people have been asking lately whether we will go for a third try by putting a personhood amendment on the 2012 ballot.

The answer is a resounding YES!

Some people may ask: Why do you think this third time will be any different?
The best way to answer this question is with another question: How many times did William Wilberforce introduce his Abolitionist law in the British Parliament?

Regarding Walking Neighborhoods And Mailboxes

Thank you for all of your hard work, especially the literature drops and door-to-door distribution that you're doing.

Just a friendly reminder:
As you're canvassing neighborhoods, please leave those pieces of literature at the doors of houses and not in mailboxes because leaving them in/on mailboxes is against the law.

Keep up the great work!

EDITOR'S NOTE: This is the second in a series of stories examining issues involving this year's election.

Amendment 62 Debate

Term 'Fertilized Egg' Compared To The N-Word

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- It’s the second time Colorado voters will see an abortion-related measure on the statewide ballot.
Opponents of Amendment 62 held a rally Thursday afternoon to speak out against a measure they feel aims to overturn Roe v. Wade. Proponents of the measure went out to make sure their voices were heard too.
Amendment 62 seeks to amend Colorado’s constitution and ban abortion and emergency contraception. It’s a measure that both sides describe very differently.

The organizers behind a Colorado pro-life initiative scheduled for the November election today filed a lawsuit against the state over "lies" about the measure in the official voter manual.

The manual, or Blue Book, is prepared before each election by the Colorado Legislative Council and is intended, according to the state agency's website, "to provide voters with the text, title, and a fair and impartial analysis."

Proponents of a ballot initiative that aims to ban abortion in Colorado have filed a lawsuit against the state for a “biased” analysis of their measure.
The so-called Blue Book by the Legislative Council has already started to show up in voters’ mailboxes. But Personhood Colorado says the language in the analysis is not “fair or impartial, but in fact glaringly biased against Amendment 62.”
